Remove the protective film from your tattoo the next morning / noon after the session.
With well soaped hands, wash your tattoo with lukewarm water only or with the use of green soap (antibacterial/neutral ph) and with gentle circular movements make sure to clean the surface * Do not leave your new tattoo in water for a long time.
Wipe your tattoo by dabbing it with kitchen
paper (not towels) to absorb all the moisture and after it dries well, apply a thin layer of the healing ointment (bepanthol tattoo). Your tattoo area should be moisturized 3-4 times a day for 15 days.
For the first 3-4 days, pay extra attention to the area of your tattoo as being an “open wound” your skin is a target for germs and bacteria from the environment around you. It is recommended to repeat step number 3, morning and night, and make sure to keep your tattoo moisturized and clean throughout the day.
During the healing process, you may notice in the first days that your tattoo peels off. I know it’s not the prettiest picture of your new piece of jewelry, but don’t worry as it’s also part of the process and gradually over the next few days your tattoo will have cleaned up and will be beautiful again and now superficially healed. It is important to keep the surface hydrated throughout the healing process.
Don’t scratch your new tattoo. There may be itching in the first few days but under NO circumstances try to relieve the itching by scratching your tattoo because there is a high possibility of causing trauma and significantly affecting the healing process. I Suggest to “press” dabs gently with clean hands on the surface to relieve the itching.
Do not bathe with hot water for the first few days and avoid exposure to water for a long time.
Avoid swimming pools/jacuzzis/bubble baths for the first 10 days.
Avoid tight clothing or clothing that may damage the surface of your tattoo.
Avoid direct exposure of your tattoo to the sun. If this is not possible, make sure to put on a sunscreen with a high protection index.
